What you need to qualify
You must be paid at least NZD $70.00 an hour (200% of the 2025 median wage), or the equivalent annual salary of NZD $145,600.00 based on a 40 hour week.
If your employment or offer of employment is based on a contract for services you must be paid at least NZD $87.50 an hour (250% of the 2025 median wage), or the equivalent annual salary of NZD $182,000.00, and have a minimum of 10 years' work in a relevant role.
