Victoria University of Wellington
惠灵顿维多利亚大学
Wellington has the clearest change of direction route of the eight. The Master of Software Development is a twelve month professional programme that requires a bachelor degree which is not in computer science, so it is built for graduates crossing into software rather than continuing in it. The Master of Building Science is a twelve month coursework degree ending in an industry project, recognised by the New Zealand Institute of Building.
Why study here
A master's designed for a change of field
The Master of Software Development asks for a bachelor degree that is not in computer science. Crossing into software is the intended path, not an exception to be argued for.
An industry project, not a thesis
The Master of Building Science combines two trimesters of coursework with an industry project or practicum in the third.
Professional recognition
The Master of Building Science is professionally recognised by the New Zealand Institute of Building.
